Family, Power, Memory: Female Monasticism in Italy from 700 to 1100

The project studies the religious who lived in Italians convents between 700 and 1100, with a comparative and interdisciplinary approach. The center of her research will be the relationship between female figures, religious beliefs and behavior, politics and society, with the aim of understanding issues rooted in our history and still open in modern society.
