MYRiCE: The church of the Holy Apostles at Constantinople: the MYth and its Reception across the Centuries

The Project will be studying the cultural history of Byzantium and its reflections through the centuries, focusing on the Church of the Holy Apostles in Constantinople and its symbolism. Research results will be compared with another monument which has carried messages over the centuries: the Basilica of San Marco in Venice.
