Veneto Night - Al museo con i "Marie Curie" - Manuscripts from the collection of the Museo Correr

The visit will be the occasion to present a series of codes from the rich collection of bibliofilo and erudite Emmanuele Antonio Cicogna (1789-1868), which he himself donated to the Correr Museum. Through the manuscripts, the present audience can approach the works of classical authors that are essential links in the formation of European culture (Cicero, Aristotle) to understand the modes of transmission and circulation in pre-modern times before the invention of the press.
